Pre-school Inclusion Special Education Teacher

DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the Building Principal/Head Teacher and Director of Special Education, the Licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. The teacher will create a positive, highly structured learning environment with clear expectations and predictable routines to effectively deliver instruction to students.  The teacher is responsible for assessment of each student's individual needs, individualization of the curriculum, development of IEPs as appropriate and coordination with team members to support achievement of social, emotional and academic goals.
