EVERETT ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

 

The Alternative School Special EducationTeacher is responsible for utilizing research-based pedagogical strategies to teach and engage diverse groups of students in grades 9-12. This Teacher is critical to the success of our alternative school program for overaged, under-credited High School Students. The Adjunct Alternative School Teachers must work collaboratively with their EHS Department Heads, Re-Engagement Specialist, and Alternative School Dean throughout the year to continually improve the experience and performance of our students. The Alternative School Adjunct Teacher must be flexible and willing to meet the scheduling needs of students within the night school schedule. Teachers must exercise culturally responsive
practices to promote equity and respect for all students.

 

Duties:

 

Working Time: Monday to Thursday 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM.


Setting: In person

 

Stipend Rate: $50/hr
