Madeline English School - ELA Curriculum Implementation Team
Description: Madeline English School third and fourth grade level teams will meet weekly with an instructional coach to develop a process for implementing grade level instructional practices, focused on leveraging student voice and student centered groupings. During the school year, the team members will meet after school weekly with teams to review curriculum maps, pacing guides, common assessments, and anchor texts to internalize curriculum and collaboratively plan for effective and equitable student-centered instruction. Team members will communicate frequently with the Madeline English Administration and Instructional Coaches.
Working Time:
- School Year dates:
- Weekly times (60 minutes/week) for team members to meet with Madeline English
Administration and Instructional Coaches.
- Asynchronous work to plan for upcoming lessons
Requirements:
- Current member of Madeline English School grade 3 or grade 4 team (classroom teacher, special education teacher, or EL teacher)
- Create scaffolds and materials to support implementation of instructional practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong growth mindset and collaborative skills
- Student centered approach to literacy instruction with high expectations for student achievement
Compensation: Up to $1,200, based on $40/ hr for 15 weekly meetings and 15 hours outside of school time.
