Physical Restraint Policy Working Group
Description:
The Everett Public Schools will be creating a working group to review our current restraint policy and supporting documents. This group will be focused on creating a draft policy based on TCIS and Safety Care training, the review of our current policy by an outside provider, interviews conducted by Hanover Research about our policy in April/May of 2024 and comparing this policy to other districts.
Working Time: 10 hours - after school
Requirements: Completed or registered for TCIS and Safety Care Training
Preferred Qualifications:
- TCIS or Safety Care Trained
- BCBA or experience in a substantially separate Special Education program
Compensation: $40/hour
Number of Positions: Up to 10 staff members with the goal of having the draft ready for review by late October.
